How it works (English)
Like all good things, ichange is a simple idea:
1. ichange gathers together a database of people who have voluntarily handed over detailed profiles on themselves as their way to contribute to various charities.
2. To support those charities, they also agree to let us send them advertisements a few times a month.
3. With such a valuable database of willing, trend leading, and socially aware consumers, we are able to attract high quality advertisers whose ads we then send out to the database.
4. In return for being able to reach such a great database of consumers, advertisers pay us fees in line with market prices.
5. We then pass on these fees to a selected number of charities, less our costs (which are never more than a few percent).
The benefits for you are:
1. Our database is made up of voluntary registrants who have agreed to received ads, specifically in your area. They are therefore highly motivated to read and absorb your ads.
2. The average profile of our database tends to be men and women between the ages of 18-45, well-educated, with a high income, and strong interests which they are willing to spend on. Your ads therefore reach a very focused target market.
3. By using ichange as a key advertising medium, consumers will associate your company and brand with high levels of corporate social responsibility, increasingly a critical factor in winning over educated consumers today.
